WOTSO, Australia’s leading coworking business, is staffing up and offering fantastic career opportunities across its expanding network of 40 locations.
Over the past year, WOTSO has opened nine new flexible workspaces with a further four locations scheduled to launch in the next three months.
Growth is very much part of the WOTSO story – and so are people; both staff and its 6,800 members.
To manage this growth, WOTSO – where staff numbers have increased 70% to 120 since 2021 -has promoted from within as part of a restructure that sets the business up for the next phase of its evolution.
Regional Managers Millie Davies-Rowe and Paula Dayeh, both of whom played key roles in WOTSO’s expansion, have been promoted to the newly created position of General Manager.
Dayeh will have responsibility for NSW and ACT, where WOTSO has 22 locations, while Davies-Rowe will lead operations in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.
In other promotions, Space Leaders Harrison Faataofe, Maricar Dela Cruz and Ellie Robinson are now Regional Managers, each responsible for several locations.
Meanwhile, Regional Manager Matilda Eder takes on the new role of Manager National Leasing, Institutional Clients and Acquisition Support.

Clare Simmons, Head of People at WOTSO, says the promotions and restructure have created numerous employment opportunities.
“This is down to opening sites and filling gaps created by the restructure. We’ve also been able to offer existing staff career progression, which has opened more jobs for new employees,” Simmons says.
Most of WOTSO’s current employment opportunities are in space management, either as a Space Coordinator or Space Leader.
“It’s a great starting point and the perfect introduction to WOTSO and the workspace culture we and our members have created over the past decade,” Simmons says.
She says WOTSO is looking for people with customer relations experience to fill these roles – working with members is a key aspect of coworking space management.
“You’ve got to like people because we’re all about creating and nurturing communities,” says Simmons.
“A lot of people we recruit in front of house roles have stepped out of hospitality or retail and they’re looking for a professional environment.
“Customer service, member experience – that’s what we’re always thinking about.”
