OUR STORY
We build local coworking spaces in the places people already call home, turning underutilised buildings into thriving communities where businesses can grow, people can connect, and work is closer to home
From humble beginnings...
What started as an innovative approach to vacant office space in 2014 quickly developed into desk hire by the day or month and has now become an ever-expanding network of individuals and businesses hustling and growing their businesses under the WOTSO roof. Our ever-growing network sees businesses of all offerings work together, skill-sharing and looking at ways to grow and extend their businesses.
Convention says that small businesses should occupy office space on the same terms as multinationals. We disagree. We offer month-to-month terms on serviced office space that can house one to one hundred people.
About us
At WOTSO, we believe work should be local, flexible and connected.
Since opening our first location in 2014, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest coworking networks, with communities across Australia and New Zealand. While we’ve expanded nationally, we’ve never lost sight of what makes WOTSO different – we’re built around local communities, not city centres.
Our purpose is simple: to provide a local home for businesses to operate while strengthening the communities around them. We believe people shouldn’t have to spend hours commuting to do great work.
By creating coworking spaces close to where people live, we help businesses:
- Save time
- Improve work-life balance
- Stay connected to the communities they’re part of
The WOTSO Way
Everything we do comes back to three things we care about.
Flexibility means removing friction from work. We offer simple, adaptable membership options that grow and change alongside our members because your business today isn’t always your business in a year.
Community means creating places where people genuinely connect. Our locations bring together businesses of all sizes, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing and the kind of relationships that make work feel less lonely.
Sustainability means building for the long term. We take underutilised buildings and turn them into thriving coworking communities, supporting local businesses, activating neighbourhoods and creating something that lasts for the people and places around us.
Today, WOTSO is more than a place to work. It’s a growing network of local coworking communities where businesses can thrive, people can connect and work feels a little closer to home.

Bringing Buildings and Spaces Back to Life
We don’t just lease space, we bring it back to life.
Many of our locations started out as underutilised buildings and spaces. Rather than building new, we look at what’s already there and find a way to make it work harder for the people and businesses around it.
We repurpose wherever we can, which means less waste and a smaller footprint than starting from scratch.
The impact goes beyond our four walls too. A revived space brings life back to a neighbourhood, meaning more foot traffic, more support for local cafés and shops and somewhere local people can work from.
We don’t just occupy space. We activate space and future-proof the places we call home.
