Call it the network effect. WOTSO members are becoming increasingly mobile and working from multiple locations at much faster rate than the coworking leader is opening new workspaces.
CEO Jessie Glew says member usage of WOTSO’s Passport Program – a WOTSO perk which enables members to work from any of its 40+ locations across Australia and New Zealand – grew three times faster than new location openings during the 2026 financial year.
Glew says Passport usage rose 98% over FY26 – a period when WOTSO opened nine new coworking locations, representing a 29% increase in the number of WOTSO spaces.
She says Passport momentum is still strong. Usage during the first quarter of this financial year was up by 50% over the previous corresponding period.
“The scale of the business today is materially different to where we were and creates opportunities that simply did not exist at a smaller network size,” says Glew.
A significant factor is the opening by WOTSO (which predominantly operates in suburban and regional hubs) of its first workspaces in the CBDs of Sydney and Melbourne.
Both are busy with local and interstate visitors.
“Opening in the heart of Australia’s two biggest cities has been a game changer, perfectly complementing our regional and suburban locations,” Glew says.
WOTSO’s Sydney CBD space is the most popular among Passport users, closely followed by the Sunshine Coast, North Strathfield, Fortitude Valley and Melbourne locations.
Glew says there’s also increased local member movement across WOTSO’s network of 20 locations in Sydney.
“We are seeing rising same-city traffic between our locations, and it’s a trend we believe will increase as our network continues to grow,” she says.
