Are you ready? Then let’s get moving! There are just a few days until The Better Challenge starts.
It’s a fundraising initiative from The Kid’s Cancer Project to support childhood cancer treatments.
The concept is simple – walk, run or roll 90km during September to raise money for the cause.
Why 90km? Because 90 Australian children are diagnosed with cancer every month.
WOTSO FlexSpace staff and members have supported The Kid’s Cancer Project since 2016, raising more than $220,000 through different initiatives.
CEO Jessie Glew joined the board three years ago and in 2023 WOTSO’s The Better Challenge team raised $14,000, collectively moving an impressive 5478km in the process.
This year the goal is to raise $20,000, and we’re off to a great start with 87 movers and shakers ready to go.
If you’d like to support, it’s easy to sponsor the WOTSO team, or one of its members, through: https://www.betterchallenge.org.au/o/wotso-flexspace
The Kids’ Cancer Project is a national charity dedicated to raising money to fund paediatric cancer research, better patient treatment and enhanced survivor programs.
The ultimate goal is finding a cure for childhood cancer, which means not only survival for every child with cancer but also reduce the long-term side effects of treatment such as learning difficulties, hearing loss, heart disease or infertility.
