With the recent launch of ‘WOTSO HealthSpace’ and ‘WOTSO CookSpace’, we have collaborated with industry-skilled partners in pioneering Australia’s first custom-designed coworking spaces to suit the unique needs of our members, replacing traditional workplace limitations with endless possibilities.
A Glimpse At The Past and a Leap Into The Future
What started as an innovative approach to vacant office space(s) in 2014 has quickly developed into a multi-level membership offering, from weekly to monthly hotdesk passes to monthly no-lock-in contracts for small to medium businesses.
WOTSO’s portfolio now consists of 20 locations right across Australia, and expansion has begun into New Zealand.
Not only have we reimagined and redesigned spaces to meet any traditional business model needs, from sole trader, startup and onto larger organisations, but in 2020, WOTSO embraced an exciting new opportunity amidst a challenging time for the world.
The challenges presented to the global workforce by the pandemic highlighted a necessity to transition from traditional workplace models and settings and to embrace flexibility, not only in how individuals work but in how workers, and indeed organisations, utilise the spaces in which they operate.
FlexSpaces were the answer. Partnering with our existing and emerging members, we have created and continued to facilitate flexibility that supports the ever-changing landscape of industry that business owners have been required to navigate and embrace in recent years.
We have since made the move into fit-outs designed for industry-specific needs and dedicated to sectors such as health and culinary pursuits, providing allied professionals with purpose-built work environments that house all of the benefits of a coworking arrangement.
‘HealthSpace’
With a leap into the future of workplace models, we have recently launched our first ‘HealthSpace’ hub, a custom-built workspace innovation for medical practitioners. With enclosed private suites catering to the specific needs of each health professional, along with top-level security and swipe access, HealthSpace’s are pioneering a new normal for the way healthcare providers can administer services to the public.
Built for various practitioners, including physios, acupuncturists, chiropractors, psychologists, nutritionists, masseuses, naturopaths and more, HealthSpace’s provide an unprecedented opportunity for professional networking and multidisciplinary collaboration.
With the added benefit of fully managed facilities and amenities, our health professionals can focus on what they do best and leave the day-to-day maintenance with us. Not to mention our HealthSpace operates under a no-lock-in contract, meeting the need for flexibility and agility in 2023 and beyond.

We are currently preparing to launch our first purpose-built ‘CookSpace’. This specific FlexSpace is complete with commercial-grade kitchen equipment and will cater to the culinary arts in all their delicious forms, including but not limited to food entrepreneurs, bakers, food truck operations, retail food startups, backup kitchens and caterers.
The endless possibilities for flexibility, community and delectable collaborations between CookSpace members are just one of the many reasons we are so excited about this expansion. The ability to provide continuous innovative solutions to our members’ specific professional needs is the real prize of what we have created with WOTSO FlexSpaces.
