KOIOP CONNECT
‘Koiop’ means Dragonfly in Meriam Language of the Torres Strait Islands. It signifies change and the perspective of self-realisation.
This month we spoke to Jake Chatfield, Managing Director of Koiop Connect; an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander owned and operated NDIS Approved Provider of culturally safe and respectful disability support services.
After receiving the NSW Governments “Making It Our Business” grant in 2018, Koiop Connect has since grown to 10 supported independent living homes, providing approved NDIS support to over 60 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, now have over 100 employees and provide service in three locations, Newcastle, Dubbo & Moree.
WOTSO’s COVID CASE TRACKER
In order to keep our members up to date and as informed as possible, we have launched a COVID-19 case tracker on our website. This is accessible to both members and the public alike and is extremely easy and user friendly. This page is updated every time we are alerted to a positive case in any of our locations.
If you are concerned, we encourage you to continue to check the page to make informed decisions for the safety and well-being of you and your team.
