Coworking space leader WOTSO is further expanding its footprint across Sydney’s western suburbs, committing to its eighth location in one of Australia’s most dynamic regions.
WOTSO’s latest workspace will be part of the brand new HQ Gregory Hills building – the first A-grade office complex in the area – and is scheduled to open in early 2026.
It joins WOTSO Western Sydney workspaces at Macarthur Square in nearby Campbelltown, Liverpool, Jamisontown, Penrith, North Strathfield, Rhodes Quarter and Blacktown.
WOTSO Regional Manager (NSW) Sarah Atlagic says HQ Gregory Hills will have 83 desks across coworking and offices plus reception, meeting rooms, communal area, stocked kitchen, business services and secure, business-grade internet.
Tia Veech, Space Leader at WOTSO Macarthur Square, grew up in the area and says the new location at Gregory Hills Business Park is perfectly positioned to provide flexible office space for small businesses, freelancers and remote workers who have moved to the surrounding suburbs.
Sydney’s CBD is a 60km drive away and to get there is a heavy cost in terms of both time and money. Freeway tolls alone cost $18 one-way.
“Gregory Hills, Oran Park, Gledswood Hills and Emerald Hills are massive growth areas,” says Veech.
WOTSO is partnering with landlord and HQ Gregory Hills developer Domenic Vitalone, founder of the Vital Group and Wisdom Homes, after an introduction from Daniel Krobot, Managing Director, Raine & Horne Commercial Macarthur.
Krobot says many local businesses want small offices between 10 to 20 sqm but they are rare.
“In the Macarthur region, to find space of this size, is virtually impossible – areas really only start from 50 sqm upwards,” Krobot says.
“We see a lot of demand on a daily basis from small businesses looking to establish themselves in flexible work environments and be in an office or have multiple desks.
“They need that flexibility and it’s not really offered in our local market right now.”
WOTSO CEO Jessie Glew says Gregory Hills is a great opportunity with “a big community of people out there who want to work locally.
“The space we’re going into is very conveniently located, with a lot of amenities around it – coffee shops, gyms, a great pub and shopping.
“From a strategic perspective, it embodies the whole idea of putting in a space where people live.”
WOTSO has more coworking and flexible workspaces in Western Sydney than any other operator and its Passport Program enables members to seamlessly work between locations.
“The Western Sydney network is one of the highest-used networks by our members leveraging all the different locations,” says Glew.
In total WOTSO has 34 operating locations across Australia and New Zealand with more (including Gregory Hills) in the pipeline.
Its 35th location at Rhodes Quarter is expected to open in early December. Gregory Hills will be WOTSO’s 36th workspace.
