From coworking to keyboard lessons, WOTSO Geelong is now open for business.
Positioned in a beautiful building, Geelong is WOTSO’s 39th flexible workspace across Australia and New Zealand with another four – in Bundaberg, Macquarie Park, Wellington and Dandenong – set to open over the next few months.
WOTSO Geelong has already made a local splash in Victoria’s second-largest city (just an hour from Melbourne) with the new green signage attracting plenty of local comment.
Regional Manager Millie Davies-Rowe said interest is strong and varied.
“We’re excited to be open in Geelong and were able to turn the space around so quickly after securing the site in mid-March because the existing office fitout was of a such a high quality,” she says.
“Geelong represents a fantastic opportunity for WOTSO. It’s a growing regional city with great transport links and there’s been good early enquiry levels from local small businesses and professional services operators.”
She adds there’s also been some less conventional uses.
“It’s hosted photo shoots while a music teacher has been using one of the meeting rooms for keyboard lessons after hours, which I think is a great use of space.”
Davies-Rowe says her design highlights are all about the building, built for National Mutual in the 1920s.
“I love the beautiful timber floors, the large windows and the natural light. It’s a really bright, light space, which is special.”
The space, in the heart of Geelong’s CBD adjacent to the Little Malop Street hospitality precinct, features 30 coworking desks, eight private offices and two meeting rooms.
Opening offer:To celebrate its opening, WOTSO Geelong is offering new members half-price rates for the first three months of membership. For bookings, contact: geelong@wotso.com
