The transformation of Kogarah’s business and community landscape took a bold step forward this morning with the official opening of WOTSO inside the Kogarah Clubhouse.
WOTSO, which now has 33 sites across Australia and New Zealand, took over the space in March, marking its first location inside a clubhouse.
Chairman of the Kogarah Clubhouse, Christopher Blaxland-Walker FRSA, said the Clubhouse team had to think creatively about how to evolve the space for modern needs.
“We knew the space had to evolve, and partnering with WOTSO just made sense. It’s innovative, future-focused and still tied to the local community in a really meaningful way”.
Mayor Elise Borg of Georges River Council welcomed WOTSO to the neighbourhood and acknowledged the shift towards more flexible, local workspaces.
“Spaces like this give people more choice. They can stay connected to their families, reduce travel time and still get the benefits of a professional workspace, just around the corner”.
Tony Baddour, President of the Business Chamber South, highlighted the positive impact on the local business scene.
“WOTSO brings a real energy to the business community. Creating spaces like this supports local entrepreneurs and small businesses, and that’s exactly what this area needs.”
Special thanks to our first WOTSO Kogarah member, Brooke B. from Therapy In The Outback, for sharing her WOTSO journey.
