The timing of WOTSO’S newest location at Gregory Hills – which officially launched this week – couldn’t have been better.
It’s bang in the middle of Sydney’s fastest-growing region, on the front line of the city’s southwestern housing march, and 60km from the CBD.
WOTSO Gregory Hills is a great place to work local – no long trips to the city, huge savings on petrol and tolls – and one which WOTSO CEO Jessie Glew says has been on the radar since 2021.
“It’s been a long journey,” she says. “We were introduced to this space before the building was even out of the ground.”
Building owner and developer Domenic Vitalone bought the land in 2016 to create what is now HQ Gregory Hills, the Macarthur region’s first A-grade office building, which has a growing occupancy of 80%.
“We wanted something that looked like it should be in the city,” Vitalone says.
He says the biggest challenge of building in Gregory Hills is its low profile outside the Macarthur region.
“But when people come here, they’re very, very surprised at how much has happened and how successful it’s become.
“Gregory Hills is central to many things and offers many growth opportunities.”
These include Western Sydney Airport and the planned new city of Bradfield.
Glew says it’s the ideal location for a coworking space, surrounded by new residential developments and numerous developing and maturing business that need room to grow.
“I do need to say thank you to Dom for having this vision to build something like this here – it’s clearly needed and I only wish we had taken 1,000 square metres instead of the 500 square metres we have now.”

Daniel Krobot, Managing Director of Raine and Horne Commercial Macarthur, initiated the conversation with WOTSO to ensure a coworking operator was part of the building mix.
“The biggest issue we face in our marketplace is that flexible, affordable workspace is virtually impossible to find, and WOTSO really fills that need,” he says.
Roland Blackstone, President of the Greater Narellan Chamber of Commerce and a solicitor at Marsdens Law Group, says WOTSO Gregory Hills “is a fantastic space for business growth”.
“WOTSO has found a wonderful, meaningful gap in the market to give small businesses, medium businesses and even larger businesses mobility and opportunity,” says Blackstone.
Tia Veech, WOTSO’s space leader at Gregory Hills, is heavily involved in the local community and has created a warm, welcoming environment, also playing a role in the interior design with Regional Manager Sarah Atlagic.
Veech says demand is buoyant and that 10 of the 16 offices (there’s also coworking space) are already occupied.
“Working local for me is having that connection with community,” Veech says.
Camden Mayor Therese Fedeli, who officially opened WOTSO Gregory Hills, says it’s an asset to the community and will be of great benefit to many local businesses.
Gregory Hills is WOTSO’s eighth location in western Sydney and its 42nd overall, all of which are available through a single member pass.
