Leading coworking operator WOTSO has announced its fourth Victorian flexible workspace at Dandenong South in Melbourne’s fast-growing southern suburbs and is considering further openings in the Victorian capital.
The ASX-listed company now has 40 locations open in Australia and New Zealand with another four in the pipeline, including Dandenong South.
Growth is driven by WOTSO’s strategic ‘Work Local’ focus on underserved suburbs and regions where purpose-built flexible office space is scarce and the CBD a hard commute away.
Regional Manager Millie Davies-Rowe says WOTSO is partnering with landlord Pellicano on the ground floor space in its M1 Hub, a new high-profile retail and commercial development within the sprawling M1 and M2 Industry Parks at Dandenong South.
It’s the latest phase of WOTSO’s push into Victoria.
Over the past 18 months, WOTSO has opened flexible workspaces in the CBDs of Melbourne and Geelong and another in inner-city South Melbourne, establishing its Victorian base before expanding into the suburbs.
“We’ve been looking for more locations in Melbourne and are excited about Dandenong South which is in the heart of a major residential and business growth area with great road access and parking,” Davies-Rowe says.
“It’s a more suburban expansion and integral to our Victorian growth. Enabling people to work near home is what we do and being in an industrial park instead of the High Street of downtown Dandenong exposes us to different businesses, which we think is very important.”
In such situations, she says WOTSO enhances corporate and retail precincts by offering alternative workspaces, meeting rooms and ancillary services. “It’s the perfect addon for the precinct.”
Nando Pellicano, Managing Director at Pellicano said WOTSO is an exciting addition to M1 Industry Park.
“WOTSO’s arrival adds another layer of flexibility and amenity to the precinct, giving businesses greater options to accommodate visiting staff, project teams and changing workspace needs,” he said.

WOTSO Chief Executive Jessie Glew says the business is exploring further opportunities in Melbourne and talks are well advanced with other landlords keen to explore coworking partnerships.
“There is increasing recognition among landlords about the benefits of coworking spaces, which bring life and activity to buildings and precincts,” says Glew.
Dandenong South is 40 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and close to the dynamic southern fringe suburbs of Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Lyndhurst.
The fitout has already started with the opening planned for September.
