Off the back of encouraging member enquiry levels and increasing occupancies at its HealthSpace locations, WOTSO FlexSpace is expanding the concept to another three of its 27 sites across Australia and New Zealand.
WOTSO HealthSpace features custom-built workspaces for health and wellbeing practitioners, including physios, acupuncturists, chiropractors, psychologists, nutritionists, masseuses and naturopaths to lease on flexible terms, within a larger WOTSO site.
Launched in North Strathfield, WOTSO has steadily built its HealthSpace offering over the past 2 years, expanding into WOTSO Pyrmont, Dickson and Varsity Lakes. A fifth WOTSO HealthSpace has recently opened at WOTSO Liverpool, and Australia’s leading FlexSpace operator will soon be introducing the concept to North Head, Sydney, and Newcastle.
CEO Jess Glew says WOTSO’s flexible leasing model, with no lock-in contracts and month-to-month lease terms, is ideal for health professionals keen to join a multidisciplinary community with the flexibility to grow.
“At our Dickson (ACT) location we have incubated a number of the HealthSpace members into larger spaces in the building,” says Glew. “It’s this whole idea of supporting businesses by giving them the flexibility they need – some only need the space for a couple of hours a week, others need a more permanent space. Whatever the case, without taking that initial 20 square metres, they would never have known what the potential is, or be in a position to realise it.”
Dr Anthony Bloomfield, founder of Wellshare, the joint venture partner in four WOTSO HealthSpaces, says the partnership with WOTSO at Pyrmont, Dickson and Varsity Lakes has worked well, and he is looking forward to opening the new HealthSpace at North Head. “The relationship and joint venture with WOTSO has been great and enabled us to expand the Wellshare brand,” says Bloomfield.
