WOTSO FlexSpace is expanding with two new locations— Kogarah, in southern Sydney, and Whangārei on New Zealand’s North Island—bringing its network to 32 sites across Australia and New Zealand.
In Kogarah, WOTSO is partnering with Kogarah RSL to develop a 600sqm flexible workspace within a mixed-use building. The site has a dedicated entrance and is conveniently positioned between Carlton and Kogarah train stations.
In New Zealand, WOTSO has acquired a large site in Whangārei for $NZ3.7 million, marking its fourth location in the country. Whangārei, the capital of Northland, sits 160km north of Auckland and serves a regional population of over 100,000.
Currently, WOTSO operates 27 flexspaces across Australia and New Zealand, with five more opening in the coming months in Melbourne CBD (late March), Jamisontown in western Sydney (early April), Kogarah (April), Whangārei (June), and Te Tōangaroa (June). |

NEW SITE UPDATE
Everything old is new again at WOTSO Jamisontown
Recycled materials, including timber and shipping containers, play starring roles in the fitout of the latest WOTSO site in Jamisontown, near Penrith, which is due to open in early April.
Regional Manager NSW, Paula Dayeh, says the timber was originally part of the Arnott’s Biscuit factory in North Strathfield, built in 1908, and was removed during the construction of WOTSO North Strathfield.
Aware of the timber’s true value, WOTSO stored it for many years in the shipping containers that have now been converted to private offices at Jamisontown, which Dayeh says is a “hotly awaited addition” to WOTSO’s western Sydney portfolio. |

BUBBADESK EXPANSION
BubbaDesk and WOTSO partnership set to expand after early success
Local MP and working mum Felicity Wilson MP this month dropped by the new BubbaDesk Neutral Bay, which combines coworking space with ancillary childcare, and said she wished the concept was around when her children were younger.
“This would have been a godsend for me with little babies,” said Wilson, the Liberal member for North Shore in the Parliament of NSW.
“I think BubbaDesk fills that area particularly well. It’s great care but also offers the opportunity for women to pursue their careers and do it around other adults.” |
