Meet Bailey, Space Runner at WOTSO Neutral Bay
How long have you been a part of the WOTSO team? Tell me what it was like when you first started?
I’ve worked at WOTSO for one year. First job I was nervous, but I love it now. The first time working at WOTSO I didn’t know where stuff was but the Space Leader who helped me, I’d like to thank them. And the receptionist who helped me too.
What’s your favourite thing about coming to work each day?
Greeting everyone in the mornings, putting normal and sparkling water for meetings – people love it. Making new friends, meeting new people, helping Suzanna [The Neutral Bay Space Leader] with the Woolworths shopping, putting out the newspaper in all the levels. Putting snacks out, putting bread out.
Why do you think coming to work is important?
To socialise with people. To have money for my future and to get experience in the job.
What are some things you’ve learnt since you’ve started working with WOTSO?
I’ve learnt how to make coffee, clean each level. Learnt where the post office is. Learnt how to use the dishwasher and I didn’t know where the bins were. Knowing where the meeting rooms are.
What do you think your strengths are?
I aim to please people. I am polite, friendly, funny and work my hardest. I try to help members as much as I can.
What are your goals for the future?
To save money, still working at WOTSO in the future. I love it.
